Forming Machines
Tubes up to Ø42 mm
CNC end forming machines for tube end shaping and serial forming of ends (including T-shapes) with preparation of functional geometries for pipe joints.
Transfluid UMR 642
42
Max. tube diameter (mm)
The Transfluid UMR 642 is a profiling machine for precision forming of tube ends into T-shapes and for creating functional geometries that improve sealing performance, fit, and repeatability of tube joints. It operates using rotating forming tools, delivering a clean result with minimal surface damage and excellent process stability. The ability to form with a clamping length as short as 1×D significantly reduces material waste and space requirements.
| Tube diameter (mm) | 6–42 |
| Wall thickness (mm) | 4,0 |
| RPM | 700 |
| Adjustable cycle time (s) | 4–15 |
BLM GROUP AST30
40
Max. tube diameter (mm)
The AST30 electrohydraulic tube end forming machine enables optimal forming even for thick-walled tubes and large-diameter tubing. The automatic loader allows head-to-tail operation, enabling both ends of the tube to be processed in a single cycle. The machine is equipped with six machining stations. Each of the six forming stations can be used and programmed for end-forming operations such as expanding, reducing, rolling, rounding, and trimming.
| Max. tube diameter (mm) | 40 |
| Pressure force (t) | 8 |
| Number of forming stations | 6 |
| Rotating station | 1 |
Crippa S2086
42
Max. tube diameter (mm)
The Crippa S2086 is a CNC end-forming machine designed for tube end forming in serial production. It is used to create precise functional geometries on tube ends, such as expanding or reducing, shouldering, calibrating, flanging, and other forming operations depending on the tooling used. The controlled process and rigid clamping ensure high dimensional accuracy, concentricity, and repeatability, eliminating the need for additional secondary operations.
| Max. tube diameter (mm) | 42 |
| Forming roller force (t) | 8 |
| Max. deformation length (mm) | 700 |
| Vise cylinder stroke (mm) | 42 |
| Distance between individual tools (mm) | 900 |
