More efficient administrative support for CNC manufacturing and heat exchangers

Artificial intelligence is already having a major impact on the way companies operate, and we do not want to be left behind. That is why, at the beginning of November, we completed a two day training course titled “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Practice for the Modern Office”, delivered in house by QUANTUM Technical Training. We focused on how we can realistically use AI in our own operations, where we specialise in CNC manufacturing of metal parts, as well as the assembly and service of plate heat exchangers.

How AI will help us in CNC production and the assembly of plate heat exchangers

We tested artificial intelligence on everyday tasks that are part of our order work: preparing quotes for CNC machining, summarising lengthy technical documents on plate heat exchangers, creating documentation for service interventions and drafting website and customer communication texts. We learned how to structure prompts so that AI can handle technical content clearly, securely and in an automated way. As a result, we can use it to speed up administration and the preparation of supporting documents.

What the course gave us

We leave the training with clear, practical ideas on how to integrate AI into our daily work. It will mainly support us with routine tasks in administration, sales and marketing. We see it as a tool that will streamline our workflows, speed up processes and help us further improve the quality of the services we deliver to our customers in CNC Machining and plate heat exchangers..
