Fourth axis on a Hwacheon CNC milling center
More precise machining and greater flexibility in the production of complex parts
Expanding our machine fleet is a natural part of the continuous development of our manufacturing capabilities. We have therefore recently enhanced our technological setup with a fourth axis on the Hwacheon Vesta 1000+ 12K milling center. This upgrade allows us to machine more complex parts with higher accuracy and shorter lead times, which is especially important for technically demanding projects.
Multi-axis CNC machining for more complex parts and shorter lead times
The fourth axis has significantly expanded our CNC milling capabilities. It allows us to machine parts from multiple sides in a single setup. In practice, this means fewer re-setups, less handling of the work-in-progress part, and more stable results. This manufacturing approach is especially beneficial for complex geometries, angled holes, or parts that combine multiple features.
In addition to time savings, it also delivers higher accuracy. The part remains in the same position throughout the entire machining process, which has a positive impact on repeatability and overall machining quality.

The OctopusTools rotary table as a key element of the fourth axis
The upgrade also includes a new rotary table from OctopusTools. It provides stable workpiece clamping, smooth operation, and highly accurate positioning. The result is not only higher machining quality, but also greater confidence when producing technically demanding parts for industrial applications.
The next step in machining
The fourth axis has primarily changed the way we think about manufacturing already at the job planning stage. Where a part previously had to be re-set several times, today the finished shape is produced in a single machining cycle. This is reflected not only in accuracy, but also in overall process reliability. For customers, this means consistent quality even for more complex parts and greater scope for tackling technically demanding projects.
